Create an account to access BIONUMERICS version 8.x support materials, such as tutorials and tutorial videos. Please note that older support materials (applicable for version 7.6 and lower) are accessible without login.

How do I find the nine-digit software serial number?

  • You can find the serial number of your software on the dongle (protection key) or by selecting File > About in the BIONUMERICS main window. This procedure works for all license types, including internet licenses.
  • For standalone licenses and server computers that have the NetKey+ license server installed, you can also obtain the serial number by pressing the Settings button in the startup program button in the BIONUMERICS Startup program and selecting Check serial number.... This action should be executed on the computer that has the dongle inserted.
  • You can get the Serial Number that corresponds to a specific dongle by running the Check_SN tool from our website. This tool should be executed on the computer to which the dongle is connected.
